In Friday's non-league outing, the Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS) football squad tipped the visiting Bayou Academy Colts (Cleveland, MS), by a margin of 21-19.

The Trojans now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mitchell for a non-league game on Friday, September 19. Northpoint Christian will battle a Tigers team coming off a 26-22 league win over Memphis Business Academy (Memphis, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.

The Colts (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Starkville Academy (Starkville, MS). The Volunteers enter the MAIS 4A District 2 outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Starkville Academy edged East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS), 28-13, in a league outing.
