The Big Valley Christian Lions football team (Modesto, CA), dropped 38-14 in Friday's non-league bout with the host West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA)

With the win, West Valley upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Eagles host East Nicolaus (Nicolaus, CA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league match on Friday, September 19. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 2-1. East Nicolaus won 26-18 in their recent non-league match against Marysville (Marysville, CA)

Coming up next, the Lions confront the River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA) in a Mother Lode League match, on Friday, September 19.
