In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Borrego Springs Rams football squad scored a decisive 49-8 triumph over the Calvin Christian Crusaders.

The Rams (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Julian (Julian, CA). The Eagles come into the Manzanita (8 Man) match with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Julian walloped Warner (Warner Springs, CA), 68-6, in a league battle.

The Crusaders now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to California Lutheran for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Calvin Christian will play a C-Hawks team coming off a 40-0 non-league win over Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA). The C-Hawks record now stands at 1-2.
