Buford Yellow Jackets (Lancaster, SC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting McBee Panthers (McBee, SC), 49-30 in a non-league match.

The Yellow Jackets (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Great Falls (Great Falls, SC). The Red Devils come into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Great Falls went down by Columbia (Columbia, SC), 37-8, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Panthers meet the Chesterfield Golden Rams (Chesterfield, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 19. McBee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Golden Rams come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 49-38 non-league win over C.A. Johnson (Columbia, SC).
