September 12, 2025: Cabot, AR 72023 The Ruston Bearcats overwhelmed the host Cabot Panthers football squad by a count of 63-28 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bearcats now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Longview for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Ruston will meet a Lobos squad coming off a 20-17 non-league loss to South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Cabot drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Little Rock Christian Academy (Little Rock, AR) to meet the Warriors in a 7A Central challenge on Friday, September 26. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
