The Bears now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Monticello for a 2A Group 5 outing on Friday, September 19. West Branch will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 35-26 non-league loss to Cascade (Cascade, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Northeast (Goose Lake, IA). The Rebels enter the 1A District 5 outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Northeast was overwhelmed by Bellevue (Bellevue, IA), 35-6, in a non-league outing.
