North Carolina High School Football - Cannon [Cannon/Concord Academy] sneaks past Northwood Academy

In Friday's non-league match, the host Cannon [Cannon/Concord Academy] Cougars football squad scored a close 19-12 triumph over the Northwood Academy Chargers.

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Providence Day (Charlotte, NC). The Chargers come into the non-league match with a 4-0 record.

Coming up next, the Chargers meet the Ben Lippen Falcons (Columbia, SC) in a SCISA 4A match, on Friday, September 19. Northwood Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 44-0 league win over Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC).
