September 12, 2025: Higganum, CT 06441 Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Capital Prep/Achievement First Trailblazers (Hartford, CT), 28-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Haddam-Killingworth upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Stafford/Somers/East Windsor (Stafford Springs, CT) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, September 19. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-0. Stafford/Somers/East Windsor won 7-6 in their recent non-league match against CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] (Enfield, CT)
