South Carolina High School Football - Carvers Bay sneaks past Georgetown
September 12, 2025: Georgetown, SC 29440 The Carvers Bay Bears football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Georgetown Bulldogs to 21 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hannah-Pamplico for a A Region 6 test on Friday, September 19. Carvers Bay will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 27-2 non-league win over Lee Central (Bishopville, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Georgetown moves to 0-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to May River (Bluffton, SC) to face the Sharks in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 26. The Sharks go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. May River won 36-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC)
