Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Catalina Trojans (Tucson, AZ), 44-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Desert Christian improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Eagles host San Carlos (San Carlos, AZ) to play the Braves in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 19. The Braves go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. San Carlos lost 49-20 in their recent non-league test against Globe (Globe, AZ)

With the defeat, Catalina drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ) to meet the Lightning in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Lightning come into the test with a record of 1-3. Lincoln Prep won 62-0 in their recent non-league test against Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ)
