Georgia High School Football - Mount Paran Christian loses to Cedar Grove

Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA), 28-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Cedar Grove advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Saints travel to Douglass (Atlanta, GA) to encounter the Astros in a AAA Region 5 battle on Friday, September 19. The Astros go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Douglass won 19-0 in their recent non-league battle against Columbia (Decatur, GA)

The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Washington-Wilkes for a non-league match on Friday, September 19. Mount Paran Christian will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 36-16 non-league win over Butler (Augusta, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
