With the win, Celina advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bobcats host Franklin (Franklin, TX) to encounter the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Franklin won 63-49 in their recent non-league bout against Lorena (Lorena, TX)

The Tigers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sanger for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 18. Gunter will encounter a Indians team coming off a 62-26 non-league win over Community (Nevada, TX). The Indians record now stands at 2-1.
