September 12, 2025: Patterson, LA 70392 The Comeaux Spartans football squad scored 34 points and limited the host Patterson Lumberjacks to 30 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Iberia for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Comeaux will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 40-14 non-league loss to Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Patterson drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Catholic - N.I. won 20-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA)
