North Carolina High School Football - West Mecklenburg defeated by Corvian Community

September 12, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28214

In Friday's non-league game, the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) football team were victorious over the host West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), by a score of 25-12.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a Catawba Shores 2A/3A/4A game, on Friday, September 19. Corvian Community will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 42-28 non-league loss to Forestview (Gastonia, NC).

The Hawks (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Lions come into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, West Charlotte achieved victory over Providence (Charlotte, NC), 42-7, in a non-league outing.
