In Friday's non-league game, the Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) football team triumphed over the visiting Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE), by a tally of 56-0.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 19. Scottsbluff will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Bluejays enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 27-14 non-league win over Pius X (Lincoln, NE).

The Cardinals now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host McCook for a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. Crete will encounter a Bison team coming off a 42-7 non-league loss to Waverly (Waverly, NE). The Bison record now stands at 2-1.
