September 12, 2025: Portland, OR 97233 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Hillsboro Spartans football squad scored a decisive 49-13 victory over the David Douglas Scots.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Wilsonville (Wilsonville, OR). The Wildcats go into the 5A Special District 2 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Wilsonville was crushed by Summit (Bend, OR), 28-20, in a non-league battle.
The Scots now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Gresham for a 5A Special District 1 battle on Friday, September 19. David Douglas will confront a Gophers squad coming off a 30-17 non-league loss to Barlow (Gresham, OR). The Gophers record now stands at 0-2.
