Pennsylvania High School Football - DeMatha wallops Roman Catholic

September 12, 2025: Philadelphia, PA 19107

The DeMatha Stags football squad scored 44 points and limited the host Roman Catholic Cahillite to 7 in the Stags non-league triumph on Friday.

The Stags now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Zion Prep Academy for a challenge on Friday, September 19. DeMatha will face a Warriors team coming off a 30-22 league loss to Loudoun Sports Academy (Leesburg, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.

The Cahillite (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA). The Explorers enter the Philadelphia Catholic - Red challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, La Salle College bounced Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD), 48-7, in a non-league challenge.
