Georgia High School Football - Glascock County loses to Edmund Burke Academy
September 12, 2025: Waynesboro, GA 30830 Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA), 31-6 in a non-league match.
The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA). The Patriots come into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Pinewood Christian was beaten by First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA), 21-10, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Warren County Screaming Devils (Warrenton, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 19. Glascock County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Screaming Devils come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 28-6 non-league win over Hancock Central (Sparta, GA).
