Pennsylvania High School Football - South Fayette nips Elizabeth Forward

September 12, 2025: McDonald, PA 15057

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA) and the visiting Elizabeth Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA), witnessed South Fayette's football squad edge Elizabeth Forward by a tally of 27-24.

The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA). The Leopards go into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Belle Vernon was tipped by McKeesport (McKeesport, PA), 20-7, in a non-league bout.

The Warriors now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Baldwin for a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. Elizabeth Forward will encounter a Highlanders team coming off a 62-12 non-league loss to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-4.
