The Emmaus (PA) varsity football team won Friday's home non-conference game against Stroudsburg (PA) by a score of 48-10.
The Emmaus Hornets overwhelmed the visiting Stroudsburg Mountaineers football squad by a margin of 48-10 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hornets now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Easton Area for a Eastern Pennsylvania - Northampton test on Friday, September 19. Emmaus will clash with a Rovers squad coming off a 35-9 league win over Bethlehem Catholic (Bethlehem, PA). The Rovers record now stands at 4-0.
The Mountaineers (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA). The Cardinals enter the Eastern Pennsylvania - Monroe game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Pocono Mountain East was ripped by Allentown Central Catholic (Allentown, PA), 30-3, in a non-league game.
