The Wildcats now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saugus for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Wilmington will meet a Sachems squad coming off a 29-6 non-league loss to Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA). The Sachems record now stands at 0-1.
The Hawks (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Newburyport (Newburyport, MA). The Clippers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Newburyport lost by Bedford (Bedford, MA), 45-13, in a non-league challenge.
