The Smyer Bobcats (Smyer, TX) football triumphed over the visiting Floydada Whirlwinds (Floydada, TX), 36-0 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 18. Smyer will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Owls enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Wheeler (Wheeler, TX).
