Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) and the host Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), saw Patrick Henry's football team gain a win over Franklin County by a final score of 36-14.

With the win, Patrick Henry advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Patriots host Fleming (Roanoke, VA) to play the Colonels in a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. The Colonels go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Fleming won 34-13 in their recent non-league battle against Salem (Salem, VA)

The Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Magna Vista for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Franklin County will play a Warriors team coming off a 41-13 non-league win over Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-0.
