The Genoa-Kingston Cogs football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Winnebago Indians to 21 in the Cogs league triumph on Friday.

The Cogs now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Seneca for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Genoa-Kingston will meet a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 50-0 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 3-0.

The Indians (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lutheran (Rockford, IL). The Crusaders enter the Big Northern challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Lutheran fell by Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL), 50-20, in a league challenge.
