The Golden Valley Cougars football team (Merced, CA), dropped 28-19 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Pitman Pride (Turlock, CA)

With the win, Pitman advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Pride travel to Atwater (Atwater, CA) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 2-2. Atwater lost 52-28 in their recent non-league contest against Hilmar (Hilmar, CA)

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Kimball Jaguars (Tracy, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 19. Golden Valley will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 22-15 non-league win over Mountain House (Mountain House, CA).
