The Gordon Longhorns walloped the visiting Strawn Greyhounds football team by a score of 58-8 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Longhorns meet the Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 19. Gordon will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 54-6 non-league win over Bartlett (Bartlett, TX).
