September 12, 2025: Kalamazoo, MI 49006 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) and the visiting Gull Lake Blue Devils (Richland, MI), witnessed Kalamazoo Central's football squad topple Gull Lake by a count of 47-19.
The Maroon Giants (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Lakeshore was outscored by Portage Central (Portage, MI), 57-0, in a league contest.
Next up, the Blue Devils encounter the St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 19. Gull Lake will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Bears go into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 51-25 non-league win over Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI).
