The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Meek Tigers (Arley, AL) and the visiting Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL), witnessed Meek's football squad wallop Phillips by a count of 60-6.

The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Waterloo (Waterloo, AL). The Cougars go into the 1A Region 7 battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Waterloo was crushed by Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL), 52-6, in a league battle.
