South Barber Chieftains (Kiowa, KS) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Otis-Bison Cougars (Otis, KS), 72-32 in a non-league battle.

With the triumph, South Barber upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Chieftains host Moscow (Moscow, KS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 0-1.

The Cougars now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pawnee Heights for a 6-Man Freelance (6 Man) battle on Friday, September 19. Otis-Bison will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 54-0 non-league win over Western Plains (Ransom, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
