The Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL) football trounced the visiting Percy Julian Phoenix (Montgomery, AL), 56-22 in Friday's league outing.

The Warriors now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Park Crossing for a 6A Region 2 contest on Friday, September 19. Russell County will battle a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 33-0 league loss to Stanhope Elmore (Millbrook, AL). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-3.
