The St. Mary's Ryken Knights football team (Leonardtown, MD), dropped 34-3 in Friday's league bout with the visiting St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC)

The Cadets (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kapolei (Kapolei, HI). The Hurricanes enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Kapolei was outscored by Kahuku (Kahuku, HI), 58-35, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Knights battle the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 19. St. Mary's Ryken will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 38-35 non-league loss to Maury (Norfolk, VA).
