South Dakota High School Football - Waubay/Summit falls to Waverly/South Shore
September 12, 2025: Waubay, SD 57273 The Waverly/South Shore Coyotes felled the host Waubay/Summit Mustangs football team by a score of 28-8 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Coyotes face the Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Waverly/South Shore will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 38-7 non-league win over Chester (Chester, SD).
The Mustangs (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Redfield (Redfield, SD). The Pheasants come into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Redfield was defeated by Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD), 42-6, in a non-league test.
