Illinois High School Soccer - Vernon Hills knocks off Grayslake North
September 12, 2025: Vernon Hills, IL 60061 In Friday's non-league outing, the host Vernon Hills Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Grayslake North Knights.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Titans go into the non-league bout with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, Glenbrook South nudged Mundelein (Mundelein, IL), 5-0, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Grayslake North moves to 0-2 on the year. The Knights host Wauconda (Wauconda, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
