September 12, 2025: Antioch, CA 94531 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) and the host Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA), witnessed Berkeley's football squad wallop Deer Valley by a tally of 44-8.
The Yellowjackets (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Granada (Livermore, CA). The Matadors enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Granada crushed San Leandro (San Leandro, CA), 33-0, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Wolverines confront the Lincoln Mustangs (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 20. Deer Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 41-0 non-league win over Jefferson (Daly City, CA).
