September 12, 2025: Mentor, OH 44060 In Friday's non-league test, the host Mentor Cardinals volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Bay Rockets.
With the win, Mentor improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Cardinals host Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH) to face the Bruins in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 7-1. Padua Franciscan won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH)
The Rockets now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Gilmour Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 15. Bay will meet a Lancers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH). The Lancers record now stands at 0-2.
