Florida High School Volleyball - International Community winner over Wekiva
September 12, 2025: Winter Park, FL 32792 International Community Comets (Winter Park, FL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wekiva Mustangs (Apopka, FL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
The Comets (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest Lake Academy (Apopka, FL). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Forest Lake Academy beat Altamonte Christian (Altamonte Springs, FL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Dr. Phillips Panthers (Orlando, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Wekiva will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to West Orange (Winter Garden, FL).
