New York High School Soccer - Scotia-Glenville toppled by Glens Falls
September 12, 2025: Glens Falls, NY 12801 Glens Falls Black Bears (Glens Falls, NY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Scotia-Glenville Tartans (Scotia, NY), 5-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Glens Falls moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Black Bears host Queensbury (Queensbury, NY) to clash with the Spartans in a Foothills Council- North test on Wednesday, September 17. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-3. Queensbury won 4-3 in their recent league bout against Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY)
With the loss, Scotia-Glenville moves to 1-1 on the year. The Tartans host Catskill (Catskill, NY) to play the Cats in a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. The Cats go into the bout with a record of 1-3.
