Washington High School Soccer - St. George's nudged by Orcas Island
September 12, 2025: Eastsound, WA 98245 Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting St. George's Dragons (Spokane, WA), 2-1 in a non-league outing.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Coupeville (Coupeville, WA). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Coupeville was edged by Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA), 8-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Dragons confront the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes (Mount Vernon, WA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. St. George's will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Hurricanes go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Providence Classical Christian (Kirkland, WA).
