The Discovery Canyon Thunder softball squad (Colorado Springs, CO), was routed 11-3 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Pueblo West Cyclones (Pueblo West, CO)

The Cyclones (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Vista Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Wolves go into the 5A CSML bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Vista Ridge gained a win over Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO), 10-9, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Thunder battle the Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak bout, on Monday, September 15. Discovery Canyon will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO).
