September 12, 2025: Carson, CA 90747 The South Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes to 1 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West for a Pioneer game on Tuesday, September 16. South will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-4.
The Coyotes (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Bellflower (Bellflower, CA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league game with a 0-12 record. In their last outing, Bellflower was nudged by Paramount (Paramount, CA), 3-1, in a league match.
