The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) volleyball knocked off the host St. Joseph's Academy Angels (St. Louis, MO), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Crusaders now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Assumption for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. Cardinal Gibbons will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Rockets record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, St. Joseph's Academy drops to 8-6 on the campaign. The Angels travel to St. Henry (Erlanger, KY) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league match on Friday, September 12. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 11-2. St. Henry won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY)
