Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Crossroads Christian CRU (Big Rock, IL) and the host Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions (Elgin, IL), saw Crossroads Christian's volleyball squad notch a victory over Harvest-Westminster by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Crossroads Christian improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The CRU travel to Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL) to encounter the Hurricanes in a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. The Hurricanes go into the battle with a record of 2-11.

The Warrior-Lions now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alden-Hebron for a Northeastern battle on Tuesday, September 16.
