North Carolina High School Volleyball - The Hawbridge School overwhelmed by Excelsior Classical Academy

September 12, 2025: Durham, NC 27704

Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting The Hawbridge School Herons (Graham, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Excelsior Classical Academy advances its record to 7-6 on the season. The Flying Lions travel to Northern Durham (Durham, NC) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Knights go into the test with a record of 6-4. Northern Durham won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Halifax County (South Boston, VA)

The Herons now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bradford Academy for a non-league test on Friday, October 10.
