September 12, 2025: Middlesboro, KY 40965 Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Middlesboro Yellowjackets (Middlesboro, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Greenup County improves its record to 12-3 on the season. The Musketeers travel to Columbia Central (Columbia, TN) to face the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Lions go into the test with a record of 10-3. Columbia Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TN)
Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Washburn Pirates (Washburn, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Middlesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Eagleton College & Career Academy (Maryville, TN).
