The Morrill Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Hyannis Longhorns to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Minatare for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. Morrill will play a Indians team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Paxton (Paxton, NE). The Indians record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Hyannis drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE) to play the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 2-3. Gordon-Rushville won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Bayard (Bayard, NE)
