Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Greencastle-Antrim Trinity
September 13, 2021: Camp Hill, PA 17011 The Trinity Shamrocks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils to 1 in the Shamrocks non-league victory on Monday.
The Shamrocks now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steelton-Highspire for a Mid-Penn - Colonial game on Tuesday, September 14.
The Blue Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA). The Indians enter the Mid-Penn - Capital game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Waynesboro gained a win over New Oxford (New Oxford, PA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
Match Summary
We knew headed into this match that we'd have a tough fight...Trinity was the 2020 State Champs (2A) and was returning their 6-3 middle blocker. Although we started out sluggish, I'm proud of how we came back and played defense at the next level. Our service and hitting errors really hurt us tonight.
