Next up, the Generals battle the Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) in a Central State Eight contest, on Tuesday, September 14. MacArthur will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, IL).

With the loss, Springfield Southeast moves to 1-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Normal University (Normal, IL) to battle the Pioneers in a Central State Eight contest on Tuesday, September 14. The Pioneers go into the contest with a record of 12-4. Normal University lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL)
