Match Summary
The Redlands High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team swept Cajon (San Bernardino) in the teams' first Citrus Belt League game of the season. Cajon and Redlands split the series in 2021/2, with Cajon losing at home, and Redlands losing in five sets at Terrier Gym to ruin their chance for the first Citrus Belt Title since 2006. The Terriers had the assistance of two players who finished their sit out period, Senior setter Maddie Brown (last year with CBL champions Beaumont), and sophomore sensation Saniyah Sobers (last year with Cajon). The advantage added up to too much, as Redlands swept in three, 25-17, 25-18, and 25-16. Up next for the Terriers is at Yucaipa, which may be the toughest challenge of the season. Redlands is now 9-4.
