The Cuyama Valley Bears volleyball team (New Cuyama, CA), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Shandon Outlaws (Shandon, CA)

The Outlaws (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Christian Academy (Santa Maria, CA). The Lions come into the Coast Valley challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Valley Christian Academy defeated San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bears encounter the Coastal Christian Conquerors (Pismo Beach, CA) in a Coast Valley challenge, on Thursday, September 15. Cuyama Valley will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Conquerors come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Coast Union (Cambria, CA).
