The Galax Maroon Tide topped the host George Wythe Maroons volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Maroon Tide now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grayson County for a Mountain Empire test on Thursday, September 15.

The Maroons (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA). The Indians enter the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Rural Retreat was knocked off by Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
